Ceramsite insulating castable uses expanded shale ceramsite aggregate with bulk density only 0.90 g/cm³, thermal conductivity ≤0.30 W/(m·K) at 500℃ and service up to 1200℃. Ultra-light, economical and jointless, it is Henan Songrui's cost-effective grade for cement preheater systems, boilers and other medium-low temperature insulation.
Ceramsite grade suits insulation below 1200℃, never as a hot working layer. For higher-temperature insulation choose lightweight high-alumina or mullite grades; for even lower density and cost consider perlite grade.
Prevent aggregate segregation; mix and pour gently; heat up slowly per the low-temperature curve. Construction guidance available.
