Iron runner castable is dedicated to BF casthouse main, branch and slag troughs, with Al₂O₃ ≥65%, SiC+C ≥15%, service up to 1550℃ and single-campaign throughput ≥180,000 t. Designed against continuous hot-metal and slag attack with thermal-shock and structural-spalling resistance, it supports on-line hot patching. It is Henan Songrui's core grade for BF casthouses.
Zones differ: the main trough metal zone needs the highest erosion resistance (higher SiC+C); branch and slag troughs use matching grades for balanced life and economy. Let Henan Songrui design the lining by trough type and tapping practice.
Form and cast in layers, control water, vibrate fully and dry per the dedicated curve. Hot gunning maintenance extends total throughput significantly.
