High-Alumina Castable LA-60 is a monolithic high-alumina refractory made from sintered bauxite chamotte aggregate with a low-cement or phosphate bond, fine powders and dispersants. With Al₂O₃ content of at least 60%, it combines good workability with high cold and hot strength. As the general-purpose grade of Henan Songrui New Refractory Materials Co., Ltd., it serves medium-high temperature furnace linings up to 1600℃ across steel, power, cement, glass and ceramics industries.

LA-60 suits medium-temperature heavy-duty zones up to 1600℃ with thermal cycling. For higher temperatures, stronger slag or erosion, upgrade to low-cement or ultra-low-cement grades; for insulation only, choose lightweight high-alumina castable. Control water strictly, force-mix 3-5 min, vibrate-cast, cure moist 24-48h, then heat up slowly per the drying curve. On-site guidance and drying curves are provided.

LA-60 has a maximum service temperature of 1600℃ with Al₂O₃ ≥60%, suitable for reheating furnaces, hot blast stoves and boiler hearths.
LA-60 uses conventional or low-cement bonding, balancing cost and workability; low-cement grade has lower CaO, higher density, better hot strength and slag resistance for harsher conditions.
Suitable for hot blast stoves, mixer ladles and ladle permanent layers, reheating furnace hearths and burner zones, CFB boiler dense-phase zones up to 1600℃.
Mix with forced mixer for 3-5 min, vibrate-cast, cure moist for 24-48h, then follow the heat-up curve slowly. On-site guidance is available.
