BF trough tamping material is a semi-dry monolithic refractory for troughs and iron notches, with Al₂O₃ ≥70% and service up to 1600℃. Installed by pneumatic ramming in layers without formwork, it suits rapid on-line trough repair with strong slag/hot-metal resistance. It is Henan Songrui's practical grade for casthouse maintenance.
Choose tamping material for rapid repair where casting is impractical; for new linings and major rebuilds, cast iron runner castable gives more uniform performance.
Clean the repair surface, bond firmly to the old lining, ram in layers to full density and dry per the dedicated curve. Repair guidance available.
