Material System & Positioning

Andalusite castable introduces andalusite aggregate into a high-alumina matrix with Al₂O₃ ≥72% and service up to 1650℃. Andalusite mullitizes at high temperature with slight volume expansion that offsets sintering shrinkage, giving stable long-term volume and low creep. It is Henan Songrui's professional grade for hot blast stoves, mixers and torpedo cars under long-term hot heavy duty.

Selection Advice

The unique value of andalusite castable is high-temperature micro-expansion compensating shrinkage—preferred for hot blast stove domes, mixers and torpedo cars under long-term hot service; ordinary high-alumina is more economical for general medium-temperature zones.

Installation & Maintenance

Heat up gently with expansion joints reserved to avoid expansion stress concentration; control water strictly and densify fully. Expansion joint design and drying curves available.
