Songrui recently completed an overall precast overhaul of a blast-furnace trough for a steel plant. Using factory-prefabricated channels, swing spouts and quick-change blocks, the site work finished in just two days versus five for cast-in-place — substantially improving BF availability.
The project applied corundum main-trough castable with SiC wear-resistant slag-line material and steel-fiber reinforcement; trough campaign life is expected to extend by over 30%. The customer approved both delivery lead time and installation service, and both parties have agreed on the next torpedo-ladle maintenance project.
